Duke William’s castle

Discover one of the largest fortifi ed enclosures in Europe, a reminder of the great upheavals in the history of our province, which has been inextricably bound to the history of France since 1204. Discover the relics of the Duke-King’s palace, or the Exchequer room, the forerunner of our modern financial institutions.
The ducal city
Starts 3.30 pm, lasts 90'
Discover the thousand-year-old heritage of the ducal city. Let our guide take you on a walk through the little stories that make up history. Your trail will take you to Rue Saint-Pierre via the “Val-des-Gueux”, up to the Duke-King’s tomb, not forgetting a meeting with Malherbe along the way.
