Vieux-la-Romaine is an archaeological entity comprising a museum, a garden of Roman inspiration, a preserved site and visits to current excavations. 2000 years ago, the village of Vieux was the Roman town of Aregenua.
Possibility of picnic on the spot, or of sampling a Roman meal (on booking).
Opening hours :
Open from January to June and from September to December : Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm.
July and August : everyday from 10am to 6pm.
Closed on May 1st, November 1st and 11th, December 25th.
Technical closure in January.
Commented visits of the museum permanent exhibition : 80 € for the group (25 pers. max.) + 3 € per pers. (admission ticket).
