Maquette du Plan de Rome (scale model of Rome)

The scale model of Rome, listed as a historical monument and unique in France, is a plaster model of about 70m2, created by the Norman architect Paul Bigot between 1900 and 1940: it features the city of Ancient Rome in the 4th century AD, at the time of Emperor Constantine. A virtual copy of this model in plaster allows a display on a human scale, including for the inside of the buildings.
