Abbaye aux Hommes (Men's Abbey)

Built in 1063 by William the Conqueror, the Men's Abbey includes Saint-Etienne Abbey Church, a gem of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles which houses the tomb of its founder William ; the conventual buildings rebuilt in the 18th Century (now the Town Hall), the cloister and Guards' Room, the old ceremony room (14th Century).

Daily guided tours (except on 1/1, 1/5 and 25/12) by appointment
Start time is organised when you book : between 8.30am and 11.30am and then between 1.30pm and 5.30pm.
Guided tour may be given in English by appointment, from Monday to Friday.
Subject and duration adapted to the demand.
Rates : 3,50 € per pers. (free for the driver(s), the guide(s) and under 18s.).
