Possibility of renting the touristic train for your events (up to 100 km from Caen).

Rebuilding to understand an experimental archaeology site that brings the Normandy of yore back to life.
Over the years, a 10th-century Carolingian village (2012-2015)and an 11th-century moated castle (2016-2021) have been rebuilt following plans certified in Normandy and using medieval techniques.
A Viking encampment with tents is based on the Scandinavian village model.
The tour includes : introduction to the project and immersion in the everyday life of people in the 10th century, among craftspeople using medieval skills.
Open from May 5th to September 30th 2012 from 10 am to 6 pm by appointment.
Adults: 5 € per pers. up to 14 adults, then 4 € per extra pers. Free for 1 guide and bus driver.
Children: 50 € for 25 children, then 2 € per extra child. Free for 4 guides for 25 children and the bus driver.

Cruise on the Caen canal aboard the «Boëdic» : departure all year round at 9 am, 12.15 am and 15.15 pm except on Saturdays in July and August.

A relaxed atmosphere reigns in this family estate with 15,000 apple trees that makes Apple Juice, Cider, Pommeau and Calvados (3 to 28 years old).
On the programme : a countryside stroll (orchards, donkey park) and cultural walk (cellars, 13th-century chapel) lasting around 30 min, tasting of the fi nest house produce (30 min), and a shop selling our products and other specialities.

La Boîte à Calva offers you the opportunity to taste Norman products and to hear information about where they come from and how they are made.
Store for purchases and souvenirs : Norman products, specialist for Calvados, Pommeau, Norman aperitifs and Norman gastronomy.
Tasting by appointment either at the shop (mornings) or at the venue of your choice (company, hotel, etc.) in the evenings from 7.30 pm. Duration: about 45 mins.
Price: 4 € per person including tasting of Calvados, Pommeau, cider and gourmet products + 1 sachet of Isigny caramels (50g) per person !
