The extraordinary success of Le Memorial de Caen lies in the initial resolve of its founder, Mr Jean-Marie Girault. This martyr city of the liberation, bombed in the summer of 1944, deserved a fitting tribute for the damage it suffered. And such a tribute was paid, but with the focus on what continues to be Le Mémorial’s running theme: reconciliation. This vocation, unique to Le Memorial de Caen, will guide you through the museum’s different stages, taking you back over the 20th century.

Individual rates :
- Normal rate from 18,30€ to 18,80€
- Reduced rate from 15,80€ to 16,30€ ( for children aged 10 to 18, senior citizens and students)
- Free entry for under-10's and war veterans
- Family Pass : 48€ (single family pass, no limit on the number of children)
