Standing at the heart of William the Conqueror’s castle, in a resolutely contemporary building, the Fine Arts Museum is one of the most important buildings in France for 16th and 17th-century European painting (France, Italy, Flanders, Holland), while its collection of engravings makes it a must-see destination.
Since 2007, the mediaeval castle has contained a sculpture park, with the addition this year of a work by Marta Pan.
